James's Gate

Completely gutted the existing bar and transformed the premises into an authentic Irish pub with an adjoining contemporary bar and restaurant. The facade of the building replicates the exterior of St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, the home of Guinness Stout since 1759.

Features of the project included the following:

• Grand stone open fireplace with antique mantle and cast iron grate
• Two hundred year old hand cut New England oak beams in the ceilings
• Authentic church pews and antique wood paneling around the walls
• Stucco walls and Vermont slate tile flooring in the main bar
